Five Turkish Defense Companies Break Into Global Top 100 Rankings

In a significant development for Türkiye’s defense sector, five of its defense companies have made it into the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking, underscoring the nation’s burgeoning capabilities in defense manufacturing and exports. Among these, ASELSAN emerged as the leader, climbing to the 40th position from 43rd in the previous year. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) followed at 48th, and ARCA Defense made its debut on the list at 53rd place.

Roketsan also saw a notable ascent, moving up to 64th from 71st, while MKE secured the 81st spot. Collectively, these five companies amassed approximately $14.9 billion in defense revenue throughout 2025. ASELSAN alone generated $4.46 billion, with TAI contributing $3.65 billion. ARCA Defense, a new entrant, reported $3 billion, Roketsan $2.37 billion, and MKE $1.42 billion.

This achievement is fueled by a rising international demand for Turkish defense products, bolstering the industry’s growth. Türkiye’s defense sector has been expanding its reach in various domains, including military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, and ammunition, alongside other advanced technologies.

The latest rankings highlight Türkiye’s increasing prominence in the global defense market, showcasing the country’s growing prowess in developing and exporting a diverse array of defense systems. This upward trajectory reflects a robust expansion in the country’s defense capabilities, marking it as a significant player on the international stage.
